I was born in Peru and raised in Sarasota, Florida, where I've called home since I was 12 years old. Growing up here gave me strong roots in the community and the ability to connect with people from different backgrounds in both English and Spanish.
My journey into insurance started by working alongside my siblings at a family insurance business. What began as a family connection to the industry turned into an opportunity to help people protect what they've worked so hard to build.
Before insurance, I spent years in sales, business development, roofing, solar and restoration. I've worked directly with homeowners, contractors and business owners, so I understand firsthand the challenges they face and how important it is to have the right protection when the unexpected happens.
That's why I created Risky Ricky. I wanted to build something personal, approachable and a little different from your typical insurance experience. No complicated conversations or unnecessary pressure. Just straightforward guidance, honest communication and someone you can actually reach when you need help.
Today, I'm a bilingual Florida insurance agent licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance. I help individuals, families and business owners throughout Florida explore their insurance options, with a special connection to Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and the surrounding communities I proudly call home.
